When Netflix announced Wednesday was returning for its second season, my excitement levels shot through the roof. Jenna Ortega – The Spooky Queen Returns

The color palette remains desaturated but not lifeless, allowing the occasional bursts of color (like Enid’s clothes) to really pop.

I especially loved how the music swelled during key revelations, enhancing the tension without feeling overbearing.
My Personal Opinion – Did It Live Up to the Hype?
As someone who loved Season 1, I went into Wednesday Season 2 Part 1 with high expectations. And for the most part, those expectations were met. The mystery kept me engaged, the performances were stellar, and the gothic atmosphere was as enchanting as ever.
However, I did feel that a few subplots were rushed. For example, one romance subplot between two side characters felt underdeveloped and tacked on. I would have preferred that time be spent expanding the main mystery even further.
Still, if Part 2 keeps the momentum and delivers satisfying answers to the questions Part 1 has set up, this could easily surpass Season 1 for me.
